Are financial assistance or scholarships available?
Great question! Thanks to our generous donors, we’re excited to offer full financial support for all program-related costs, including transportation and meals for college and learning experiences. There are no cost barriers—just amazing opportunities!
How can I volunteer, donate, or support Summer Up?
We’d love to have you on board! Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating, or supporting our mission in other ways, we’ve got plenty of opportunities for you to get involved. Stay tuned! We’ll be adding a section soon that details how you can contribute to Summer Up and help make a difference.
What activities and programs does Summer Up! offer?
Summer Up offers a variety of programs for students starting as young as 3rd grade, including a special program designed for girls. However, the majority of our offerings are geared toward high school students (grades 9-11) and young adults (ages 18-24). These include overnight college programs where students can experience college life firsthand, with courses in areas such as STEM, Fine Arts, Education, Forensics, Nursing, Business, and more. Some students even have the opportunity to earn college credits before heading to college, giving them a valuable head start.
What is Summer Up!?
Summer Up is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects students with transformative college and learning experiences, exciting camping adventures, and paid internship opportunities. We serve as a liaison between educational institutions and employers, ensuring that our students receive high-quality, impactful experiences. We also ensure that our educational and employer partners are equipped with motivated youth who can bring value to their organizations and companies.
Who is Summer Up! for?
Summer Up is for students and young adults who want to explore college experiences, engage in exciting camping adventures, and gain valuable paid internships. We offer programs for students starting as early as 6th grade, including a special program for girls in 3rd-8th grades. The majority of our programs, however, are designed for high schoolers (grades 9-12) and young adults (ages 18-24). Summer Up provides life-changing opportunities that help participants build skills and shape their futures.
How can I enroll my child in Summer Up?
We thought you'd never ask! Simply visit our website at GoSummerUp.org, click on the "Registration 2025" tab, and scroll down to the yellow form at the bottom. Complete a few quick questions (it’ll take no more than 2-3 minutes), and Summer Up! will contact you within 24-48 hours via text or email.
